This morning I woke up feeling fat. I just knew it was another gain day. My fingers were swollen and everything!
I was pretty careful about what I ate. I talked Dad into splitting a crab cake appetizer, 1 for each of us, instead of getting an order of Bang Bang shrimp when we went to our favorite happy hour at Bonefish. That was the day's victory.
After Thursday and all the beer I decided to stick with hard alcohol. I knew it was about 100 calories per drink so I'd figured ahead of time I could have 4, and that's what I did. Afterward I realized that since I was ordering on the rocks instead of my usual with water, they were essentially doubles! Oops....
Anyway, either luck or the fact that I was mindful of what I ate saved me....maybe a little of both? Exactly 200 this morning!!
