Yesterday afternoon I got a killer migraine about 3:30 or so. When I got home I just wanted to take a hot bath and a nap. I ended up taking a bath and laying down but my stomach was growling. When I'm sickly I ALWAYS crave Creamy Chicken Ramen noodles. Weird, I know. I went ahead and had Andy make me a package, and it hit the spot perfectly but I felt extremely guilty afterward. I went online and was surprised to find out that a serving was just 5 WW+ points. Of course, I had the whole package, which is supposed to be 2 servings, so it was 10 points. Not good, but honestly not as bad as I expected. The sodium, of course, was out of this world, which is the main reason to avoid Ramen. Anyway, I skipped the wine and went to bed at like 7:00. Total yesterday I had 31 points (again). Not horrible, but I'm a little worried about how fast those flex points are going!
I am joining SparkPeople today. It seems like it might be a little bit better tracker than The Daily Plate. More goal-oriented, which is really what I need. I read a blog yesterday where someone was talking about how you have to set small specific goals for yourself along the way. That way you see small victories instead of just failing to lose 50 pounds, etc. So Goal #1 for me right now is to get under 200. This morning I weighed in at 201.8. I should probably add a caveat that I'd like to stay under 200. One day of 199.8 isn't going to cut it - let's go with a week!
