The best part is that includes a glass of wine!
I have decided that the best way to quantify my intake is by using a rough (read: free) version of Weight Watchers points. For instance, today after lunch I had 1100 calories left by that count alone. In WW points, I only had 5 remaining.
To challenge myself, I went looking for tasty recipes that I could squeeze in under that restriction. I ended up making a 1-point cauliflower soup, and eating half of a 5-point turkey-stuffed zucchini serving. Both were delicious, and I was especially pleased at how full I felt. Andy's comments were the same, and he had a second bowl of soup so it must not have sucked!
I splurged a bit to have the wine, I'm not sure yet what the points damage will be. Overall, I'm feeling quite happy. After some less nutritious choices in the earlier part of the day, I can say that I redeemed myself and ended on a good note. I'd always much rather mess up early when I have time to burn some off!
Good night!
