< 200!

Well this morning was 199.8, which makes me feel awesome!  I don't want to get too excited as it fluctuates so much from day to day, but it does make me greedy to keep it down there so hopefully I can add that to the list of motivating factors!  I genuinely thought it would be another gain morning, which is the same thing that happened last week when I was right at 200.  Weird!  Maybe Jim Beam is helping me lose weight ;)

So, I'll make Wednesday my official day to "weigh-in".  Though I do it every day for my own reasons, I know comparing day-to-day numbers is not a good way to go.  Mentally it just helps me to know I have to weigh myself the next morning, and I know how I'll feel if that number goes up, so that helps me control myself during the days.  Anyway, last Wednesday was 201.8, and today is 199.8, so that's 2 pounds lost!  I'm pretty happy with that.  As I said before, I don't want it to be too fast.  I once read that when losing weight, 2-3 pounds per week is the 'healthy' rate.  So....YAY!  Now my goal is to still be under 200 next Wednesday.  Further away than 0.2 pounds would be SUPER!

I had oat bran for breakfast this morning, and I'd forgotten just how delicious it is!  Also, last night I made these dijon herb pork chops that were really yummy.  I'd recommend them to anyone, though I think next time I'll use less dijon...just not a mustard fan!  I actually brought the leftover one for lunch today, and we'll be having chicken noodle soup for dinner since Andy is getting some teeth extracted today.  That should be good, because I woke up feeling sick and it's getting worse before it gets better!
